Tamara joined Advance in 2018, initially in a part-time role as she transitioned back into the workforce after dedicating time as a stay-at-home mother.
Her commitment and expertise quickly became evident, leading to her transition to a full-time position in 2020.
Since then, Tamara has become an integral part of our team, ensuring the smooth operation of day-to-day administration that keeps our projects on track.
Key Responsibilities:
- Payroll, Creditors, and Debtors:
- Ensuring accurate and timely financial transactions.
- Project Administration:
- Coordinating various administrative aspects to support project efficiency.
- Project Reporting:
- Providing detailed and accurate reports to keep all stakeholders informed.
Recognizing the importance of continuous growth, Tamara is currently completing a Certificate IV in Business – Project Administration. This qualification will further enhance her ability to contribute to the seamless running of our business, reflecting her dedication to both personal and professional development.
Community Involvement:
Tamara is not only committed to her professional role but also to making a positive impact in the community.
- She is a founding member and the current Secretary of Women in Resources Inc., demonstrating her leadership and dedication to supporting women in the industry.
- Tamara has been an active member of the National Association of Women in Construction since 2021, further showcasing her commitment to advancing the role of women in construction and related fields.
- Additionally, she has been instrumental in the organisation of the Walk to d'feet MND Darwin to raise awareness and funding for people in the NT living with Motor Neurone Disease.
