Dundee Beach Fishing Infrastructure Upgrade

Design and Construct coastal infrastructure project located 120 km southwest of Darwin, delivering upgrades to recreational fishing and boating facilities. The project included the construction of a new boat ramp jetty, accessible fishing platform, and coastal protection works to improve public access, safety, and resilience against erosion.


Scope of Works

  • Upgrade of existing boat ramp, including sheet pile installation and concrete jetty construction
  • Construction of concrete-filled culvert jetty structure with stairs, fenders, handrails, and lighting
  • Groyne re-armouring works using 2–4 tonne armour rock for coastal protection
  • Construction of accessible fishing platform including precast retaining walls, concrete slabs, ramps, and access path
  • Installation of DDA-compliant facilities including shade structures, solar lighting, and accessible fishing sections
  • Management of civil, marine, and concrete construction activities in a remote coastal environment
